Products WearFil

Impact resistant flux-cored wire for hardfacing
WEARFIL 59 is a high C- Cr – alloyed self-shielded flux- cored wire for applications in highly mineral wear. It is suitable for hardfacing of parts that are exposed to highly abrasion in wet areas. The overlaying thickness should not exceed 10mm which means a deposit of 2-3 layers. The deposit should be subjected to little impact stress.

Application

Farming, gravel digger, pumps, mixer paddles, concrete pumps, conveyor screws, impellers and impeller screws, track hoppers.
High C- Cr- Nb- B- alloyed self-shielded flux-cored wire electrode with special carbides combined with cubic Nb-carbides in extreme hardness. This combination results in highly abrasion resistance to mineral wear. Applications are found in the hardfacing of mining equipment, augers, impellers and dredgers.

WEARFIL 65 is a high C- Cr- Mo- Nb- W- Valloyed self-shielded flux-cored wire electrode, which forms extremely hard carbides. This is used for hardfacing to extremely strong abrasive mineral wear. The deposit retains its wear resistance up to 800°C. The structure consists of primarily and eutectic solidifying Cr- carbides plus Nb- Mo- W- V- carbides. The hardness reduction at a temperature of 400°C is approximately 4% and at 700°C approximately 10%.

Application

This wire is recommended for use in sintering plants, augers and blast furnace bells.

Impact resistant flux-cored wire for hardfacing
WEARFIL 350H is low carbon flux-cored wire which produce a low alloyed hardfacing deposit with a hardness of about 32-35 HRC. The deposit is tough and not susceptible to impact loads and high pressures. WEARFIL 350H is excellent for buffer layers before hardfacing. The deposit is forgeable and can also be treated with cutting tools.
To be used with CO2 gas with 12~15l/min. Due to the low carbon content the weld seam is crack free.

Application

We recommend it for hardfacing of rollers for conveyors, rollers for conveyor belts and gears.
WEARFIL 450H is low carbon flux-cored wire suitable for hardfacing and recovery of gears, excavators, high pressure pumps and others requiring hardness of the all weld metal 42-45 HRC.
To be used with CO2 gas with 12~15l/min. Due to the low carbon content the weld seam is crack free.

Application

We recommend it for hardfacing of units of tracks chains.
WEARFIL 700H is low carbon flux-cored wire for abrasion and impact resistant hardfacing. The deposit is crack-free, hard, tough and heat resistant up to 500°C.
The hardness of the all-weld metal is 55-56HRC. For base materials that are difficult to weld, a buffer layer is recommended. To be used with CO2 gas with 12~15l/min.

Application

We recommend it for hardfacing of rollers for conveyors, rollers for conveyor belts and gears.

Bimetal welded plates

SEWEAR Plate is a bi-metallic plate, consisting of a mild steel base with a highly alloyed wear resistant cladding. It is produced by a customized automatic hardfacing process which results in a harder, tougher and more wear resistant surface than any existing process can achieve, as proven by abrasion tests to ASTM G65 and erosion tests to DIN 50332. The low carbon steel base plate allows the product to be welded, bolted or studded to existing structures, whilst the surface cladding provides an excellent wear resistance barrier to the most severe conditions and environments. The highest available concentration of Chrome Carbides (Cr7C3 - Hardness 1730 VPN) together with the optimum Carbide orientation and the unique alloy additions makes SEWEAR Plate superior to any plates of this kind available in the market

Advantages

  • Easy making of any details from durable material, custom sized;
  • Easy welding to existing structures;
  • Excellent abrasion resistance;
  • Good resistance to high temperatures;
  • Very good corrosion resistance due to the high chromium content;
  • Very high carbide concentration;
  • High impact resistance;
  • Variable composition and hardness, according to the application.
